Yes there is too much salt on the roads here when it's winter, that's why I only use my old Opels during the summer.
Hi,Mikko
I think you missunderstood Joiner. Nevertheless: good work done..(till jet)
Car is painted now, just assembly work left.

best color in the world
This Signalgrün was one of the en-vogue-colours of the psychedelic 70s.
Nearly the same "Giftgrün" (poison-green) was used by Kawasaki to underline the agressive attitude of their motorcycles - we then called it "Kawa-Grün".
My first Ascona A was less spectacular coloured in "Ocker" (I don't know the english form), but also an en-vogue-colour of the 70s.
Mikko, I'm impressed by your job! Wish you a lot of fun by cruising with the "Frog".
Max
I'm happy to hear that you like the car.
It looks great.
I hope to see some more pictures, when the whole car is fully assambled and of course also in the different steps.
So on good luck and good work
Take care of this green lady
A picture of how it looks right now.
seems like you´re on target
Great, it almost looks like that the Ascona is ready.
The Ascona is now started for the first time and all the lights work.
Now I just need to bleed the brakes and change the old fuel pump because it doesn't work very well.
So soon it should be ready for a testdrive.
And a picture of how it looks at the moment.
Wheels will be these 7x13" Ally Cat or...
...these 6x13" Borani from my Kadett Coupé.
Nice, really
Take the Ally Cat´s. You´ll have more fun--.-
Great work! I hoppe you'll enjoy your first testride.
What about black stripes at the sides and a black engine hood and rear?
All the best
Michael
I will put black stripes on the sides like the 19SR had, same as on my Kadett.
